A Brief Tale of the Short-Lived

For ages had it been endured,
And with age has it gone,

GOLD and DIAMONDS
As I was browsing through the ISLAMIC THINKING Blog, I stumbled upon this:
And then I think, that it is indeed true. Putting aside the message that it actually trying to converse about, my MIND seems to be thinking on other matter; the thing that always bothers me, GOLD.
Everyone knows how precious GOLDS are, and of course DIAMONDS! But I really really think that there is something special about this GOLD thingy, something so special that it is simply different from the other things!
GOLD is so rare, so damn rare, that it is rare even to the UNIVERSE! All of the GOLD on Earth come from dead stars crashing together, created as a result of gamma-ray burst of stars that die and collide with each other. Pretty rare indeed, and so much energy too!
All of the metals found on earth in itself are made from starts, as the earth don't have the energy, or to be precise, the HEAT to create these elements. Yet, GOLD is even more complex to be created!
So what is it with this DIAMOND that actually worth more than GOLD??? why is it so???
First of all, DIAMONDS - being the hardest material once, not so nowadays - are not entirely expensive in its pure form, it is just a compressed carbon anyways. Looking at GEMOLOGY, its worthiness is referred to its colour, clarity, carat weight and cut. So it is simply more of its workmanship, how it sparkles and things like that rather than it in itself.
GOLD, on the other hand, is precious in its pure form, by weight and such. You could shape it to other things then melt it to the ground again, and yet, it still maintains its value. Almost simply indestructible! Well, maybe that's kinda too much... lol...
DIAMONDS can be synthesized nowadays, so I heard, which could again, makes it less worthy than GOLD. DIAMOND is just a molecule, yet GOLD is an atom! And that is a huge difference!!! ALUMINIUM was once more precious than GOLD - we're talking about 19th Century - but look at it nowadays; we throw away aluminium cans every now and then! So why can't it happen to DIAMONDS instead??!
Well I'm not the expert here... Maybe I'm just the GOLD GUY and less of a diamond guy...

Ulama, Hai Ulama...
I don't really know where to start...
But somehow I became rather fed up with some of those people who called themselves "Ulama,"
but they are not very honest about delivering the revelations of God...
Be it Quran or Hadith...!
There are so many statements given, and it sounded wrong! so wrong!!!
What are you trying to do here?
Are you trying to educate us, the public, about Islam and the righteous;
or are you stuck in somesort of a political dispute and you just can't help but to create somesort of a cover story or something?!!!
And you made it seems like God is with those wrongdoers and supported them in any way?!!!
This is so wrong man!!!
Then I remember that I once have heard about the arrival, or lets call it prophecised Ulama Su'.
So who are these guys the prophet were talking about?
(Hadith Riwayat ad-Darimi)
(Hadith Riwayat al-Hakim)
(Hadis Riwayat al-Hakim)
And some could even be found within Al-Quran itself, such as they are:
(Al-Quran : Ali Imran : 78)
Dan bacakanlah kepada mereka berita orang yang telah kami berikan kepadanya akan ayat-ayat kami, kemudian dia melepaskan diri dari ayat-ayat itu lalu dia diikuti oleh syaitan (sampai ia tergoda) maka jadilah dia termasuk orang-orang yang sesat.
(Al-Quran : Al A'raf : 175)
(Al-Quran : Al A'raf : 176)
And that's about it that I could find for now...
You don't need to be a scholar to differentiate who is who on this issue.
Fine I get it, not everything that the government is doing is wrong...
but you don't have to make up a cover story using some ayat of Quran or Hadith to make them right! With a twist here and there! And half-read here and there!
You made it seems so perfect to you, but no one is going to buy them!!!
Come on! are you that desperate!!!
Do you really believe in God?! Don't you think you are going the exact opposite way?!!!

أُمَرَاءِ زَمَانِهِمْ رِبْحاً ِللأَنْفُسِهِمْ لاَ أَرْبَحَ اللهُ تِجَارَتَهُمْ
Kebinasaan bagi umatku (datang) dari ulama su', mereka menjadikan
ilmu sebagai barang dagangan yang mereka jual kepada para penguasa masa
mereka untuk mendapatkan keuntungan bagi diri mereka sendiri. Allah
tidak akan memberikan keuntungan dalam perniagaan mereka itu.(Hadith Riwayat al-Hakim)
الْعُلَمَاءُ أَمَنَاءُ الرُّسُلِ مَا لَمْ يُخَالِطُوْا السُّلْطَانَ وَ يُدَاخِلُوْا الدُّنْيَا فَاِذَا خَالَطُوْا السُّلْطَانَ وَ دَاخَلُوْا الدُّنْيَا فَقَدْ خَانُوْا الرُّسُلَ فَاحْذَرُوْهُمْ وَفِيْ رِوَايَةٍ لِلْحَاكِمِ فَاعْتَزِلُوْهُمْ
Ulama adalah kepercayaan para rasul selama mereka tidak bergaul
dengan penguasa dan tidak asyik dengan dunia. Jika mereka bergaul dengan
penguasa dan asyik dengan dunia maka mereka telah mengkhianati para
rasul. Kerana itu, jauhilah mereka.(Hadis Riwayat al-Hakim)

Sesungguhnya di antara mereka ada segolongan yang memutar-belitkan
lidahnya membaca Al-Kitab, supaya kamu menyangka yang dibacanya itu
sebahagian dari Al-Kitab, padahal ia bukan dari Al-Kitab. Dan mereka
mengatakan ia (yang dibacanya itu) dari sisi Allah, padahal ia bukan
dari sisi Allah. Mereka berkata dusta terhadap Allah sedang mereka
mengetahui.(Al-Quran : Ali Imran : 78)

nafsunya yang rendah; maka perumpamaannya seperti anjing, jika kamu
menghalaunya diulurkan lidahnya dan jika kamu membiarkannya diulurkan
lidahnya (juga). Demikian itulah perumpamaan orang-orang yang
mendustakan ayat-ayat kami, maka ceritakanlah kepada mereka kisah-kisah
itu agar mereka berfikir.(Al-Quran : Al A'raf : 176)

Melbourne, Australia Trip, 2014
Recently, my studio mates and I went to MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA. We went there visiting our other studio mates that is studying in RMIT currently.
So, while they are studying - as we went there on weekdays - we went for a vacation of our own; and while at the Brighton Beach, somehow I've used my SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 to capture some animated photos there. Sadly, I was unable to upload it to INSTAGRAM nor WATSAPP it to my other studio mates in MALAYSIA.
Thus, right now, I am posting it here, since I have nowhere else to post!!!
(and I must post it somewhere... lol...)
Those little cabins were such a beauty. It fills up the beach into an attraction that otherwise just simply another beach. And there we are hopping like crazies.
We did look like a bunch of retards maybe, but hey, that is parts of life somehow. All we did was having fun, just once in a while. So basically what I am saying is that, our part time job is a retard kid!!! hahaha...
And I love the silhouette effect it produce as we were facing against the sun.
And there it goes, a tale of KHAZANAH STUDIO that was made in MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA...

Happiness False Accusation!
Many of us have abused the very facts about HAPPINESS itself, when what we say or think about happiness is far from the truth!
Many of us believed that this thing will lead me to happiness, and that thing will surely grant me happiness if I own or have them in my life right now; and you know what, somehow you are WRONG!!!
( I think i'm overdoing this... haha... )
Well, it's just that yesterday I've read an article about Myth that we've heard or think about happiness, and it surely does change my PERCEPTION about what makes me happy in life. So, lets go through the list;
1- THE RIGHT MARRIAGE
Most of us think that the right marriage will provide us with ETERNAL HAPPINESS, but actually it only picks up a sizable boost in the first 2 years!
Research shown that long lasting and intimate relationships was not born from partners that respond to each other's disappointments, but how they respond to GOOD NEWS!!!
So, if your partner shares a good news with you, make sure to react with joy and ask enthusiastic questions signals that you care!
2- YOUR DREAM JOB
Most think that if you got your dream job, you will be happy working, forever! WRONG!!!
Research found that you will experience
BURST OF HAPPINESS right after a new job, but within a year or so, you will be back to normal again.
We all adapt to new experiences, and thus, an joy from new work environment will likely fade with time.
So, the researchers suggest that you try to "RE-EXPERIENCING" what it was you didn't like about your previous work, as mentally transporting yourself to where you didn't want to be will help you in this situation...
3- BIGGER SALARY
There's a lot of people thinks that they didn't work well because they wasn't paid enough. Well it might be true for some, but not for all who actually get paid well; and it might be just you.
A study found that people prefer to live in a world where they make $50,000 while others earning $25,000; rather than in one where theirs is $100,000 but others make $200,000.
To overcome this, try to "BUY HAPPINESS" instead, and use that money to buy another limited resource: TIME.
Pay people to do time-consuming job, so you have more time to spend on experiences; as I heard that people who spend money on experiences rather than materials will definitely be happier.
4- BIGGER HOUSE
If you think that big house will bring you happiness, well it does, but with an extra package! WORRYING!!!
If bigger square foot means you have to take out a barely affordable mortgage, you won't be as happy as you think.
Research shown that eliminating NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES makes you 3-5 times happier than creating a POSITIVE EXPERIENCES!
Research also shown that, once again, experience - not things - that make us happy. Try to find happiness in everything or anything that you are doing!
5- REACHED A BIG GOAL
Many studies have shown that those who are STRIVING toward a goal are happier that when they actually accomplish it! Pursuing goals gives us pleasure by creating structure, deadlines, and opportunities to learn new skills.
So, try, instead of just focusing too much on the finish line, try to savor every "SUBGOAL" to reach your GOAL, while enjoying it as much as possible of course!
And the list goes on...
I'm too tired to write, and the above is what actually interest me anyway... haha...
And, last but not least, the very picture of happiness itself! Our KHAZANAH STUDIO trip to Pulau Tinggi last week!!! huhu... A true definition of happiness that is!!!
