I shook my head no.

( I just picked it up… I’ve read only a little bit… But maybe I should read the whole thing. )

“You’re wondering whether to read the whole book aren’t you.”

I was surprised and stared at her…

“… How did I know that… ?”

“It was as plain as the nose on your face. Because  I… I’ve been here since you opened that book. You didn’t notice me watching because you were completely absorbed in that book… I figured if you haven’t read that book yet, you  would be certainly thinking about doing so.”
