~Design Life~

I think I need to dedicate my life more to DESIGN and ARCHITECTURE... It's not like I want to forget other things... Its just that I want to FOCUS more on those things a little bit more than I usually did... I've always wanted to do that since ages ago, but I couldn't, due to some unavoidable reasons... ahaha...

Well, I managed to find some interesting words on TUMBLR... well I just started tumblring, but I haven't yet get used to it... haha... well I will one day... just don't know when... huhu...
First of all... I have to know the function of my own BRAIN, or at least how it works... It is undoubtedly a general knowledge that your left brain is for LOGICAL thinking and you right side is more on dreams and creativity... or should I say IMAGINATION... huhu...

I think I am more LEFT-Brain Sided... Well, I used to "BERANGAN" so much that sometimes I didn't catch any words that the person in front of me was saying, haha... yet still I think I am left sided... more on logical thoughts, realistic, that sometimes people dislike me when I takes too much attention to details... huhu... sometimes...
It is true that ARCHITECTURE is a combination of both ART and SCIENCE... yet we have to understand that in architecture, science ALWAYS WINS over arts... If not, it would be non-build-able in this real, practical world... So I do have some advantages in that part I think...
Yet I still need to sharpen my skills for my right part of the brain called, CREATIVITY... huhu... And to tell you the truth, studying architecture in UiTM have helped me a lot in growing my creativity... well, to an extent that if I'm not here, I don't think I could... huhu...

And this process takes years of works...

After all these years of training... I still think that I don't have one thing... One of the main ingredient is missing... And it is important... very important indeed... huhu... and that would be COURAGE... the courage to be BLAMED, to be SHOUTED AT, to be WRONG, to create REVOLUTION or EVOLUTION, to create HAVOC among human minds, to trigger NEW IDEAS or a new SCHOOL OF THOUGHTS... and most important, the courage to face FAILURE and then STAND AGAIN...!!!

COURAGE is what it takes...

and COURAGE is what needs to be kept and hold firm...

I will try not to be afraid to let my new IDEAS out, and get the deal with the lecturers... cause before this, I've been thinking of keeping it all to myself, then I forgot what I've been keeping, and the BEST PART is, someone else came with the idea themselves, and the lecturers love it...

Anyway, I need to understand that, like what columbus said, "Everything is IMPOSSIBLE, until someone did it for you..." Everyone keeps on saying that if they traveled far enough, they too could found the new land (America)... Yet, they didn't... And that's the difference between them, a big one...

Something new, something different than others, might be called CREATIVE by some, or FREAKS by the others... just bare with it... New things needs time to settle down, just make sure it doesn't go beyond what it shouldn't... like playing with your God... huhu...

And the last one for today's session...

Haha... I think it is more to DESIGN that meet user needs and business success... but those are the main points of keeping your design FAR FROM ITS DEATH... unless you know the right way to do it the other way around... huhu...
So, keep on designing... and be prepared... there is a lot of other things waiting for me, so don't stop, move ahead... don't forget the past, cause that's just not me... hold firm to both, the PAST and the FUTURE... and PRESENT of course... huhu...
